Sara Edwards began her editing career in television commercials and music videos, editing over sixty film clips for bands such as Powderfinger, The Living End, Kasey Chambers, Sophie Monk and the Aria award winning videos for Madison Avenue. Working with various directors across a wide range of media, Sara has edited several award winning feature documentary films and shorts, including Ego: The Michael Gudinski Story and Not Quite Hollywood for which she received an AFI Award nomination for Best Editing. In 2019 Sara won an Australian Screen Editors Ellie Award for Gatwick: Last Chance Hotel. Among her other feature documentary credits are SUZI Q, Planet Wind, Motorkite Dreaming, Electric Boogaloo, Machete Maidens, First Love and Uncharted Waters. Sara has also worked on several televisions series including Advancing Australia, The Record, Undercurrent and Get Ace which was nominated for an Emmy Award.
