Update on “Reflections of Courage”
Over the past year, we have made significant strides with Reflections of Courage, despite working under challenging circumstances without the financial support needed to cover the production costs.
Since joining the Documentary Australia platform, we hosted a soft launch of the documentary at Parliament House, attended by over 100 guests, including distinguished figures such as The Hon. Natalie Peta Ward MLC and Marjorie O’Neill MP. This event was a pivotal moment in showcasing the documentary and its powerful message. A feature article was also published about the film and its subject, Eddy Boas, which has helped bring further attention to the project.
Eddy Boas is now preparing for a tour of speaking engagements and screenings, which will continue to expand the documentary’s reach and impact. At the same time, we are in the final stages of attribution and licensing, essential steps for the documentary’s completion and distribution.
This film is the result of over a year of tireless work by many skilled individuals across various departments, all of whom have worked in good faith and without remuneration. To honor their dedication and complete this important project, we urgently need full financing to cover the production costs and ensure Reflections of Courage reaches the wide audience it deserves.
Your continued support is vital to bringing this story of resilience and courage to the world. Thank you for believing in this project.
