Writer/director/producer/presenter Lo Carmen is a touring and recording artist/author/cultural historian with a string of acclaimed albums. The ‘Lovers Dreamers Fighters’ docuseries marks her first foray into long form filmmaking.

Her memoir/manifesto ‘Lovers Dreamers Fighters’ was published by Harper Collins Australia in 2022. Lo has also written for The Guardian, Rolling Stone, Sydney Morning Herald, The Big Issue and Vogue and has appeared in some of Australia’s best loved films and TV, from Blue Murder to Red Dog and The Year My Voice Broke, receiving Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress nominations along the way.
