Clare is a documentary director and producer who’s passionate about storytelling, social change and dynamic characters. After working as a curator, writer and producer in the arts, she founded People Productions with Carolina Sorensen and Matthew Walker and has been making successful documentary features and digital content for large and small screens for ten years. She directed There Goes Our Neighbourhood for ABC about Sydney’s largest public housing estate and the fight to save their homes. She recently produced AACTA nominated feature, I’m Wanita, with Carolina Sorensen, directed by Matthew Walker about a chaotic country music singer hell-bent on realising her dreams that screened theatrically and on ABC. The film won Best Australian Documentary, Sydney Film Festival and Best Music Documentary, Raindance, UK. As Creative Director of GoodChat a social change content agency, she has directed hundreds of videos tackling social justice, climate action, equal rights and education.
