Synopsis –
Finding Carlos is the story of an adult trying to find his biological father. Protagonist – Brayden Olson, a unique thirty six-
year-old, is a colorful spirit, who radiates authenticity. Born and raised in the suburbs of Seattle (U.S.A.), by a single
mother, Brayden grew up fatherless and never knew why.
Now, years later, he begins to ask himself who is the man that gave him half his DNA and why do I know nothing about him. A journey of self-discovery and identity entails. New truths unravel and Brayden is faced with unsettling revelations. His behavior slips into that of a detective, a fly on his own wall, as he reckons with his unknown past. Further deepening his wound of –
Who is my father? Where is he? Why after all these years has my mother been so reluctant to talk about this with
me?
The only piece of information Brayden has after all these years is a name, Carlos Ferreira, and a single photo, taken
nearly forty years ago of his mother and a man (Carlos) on a cruise ship in Hawaii. Events get very interesting when
Brayden stumbles across this same man in a crystal healing store commercial on the internet all these years later.
Could this man be his father? Or is this a total stretch of the imagination? In his desperate attempt to fill in the blanks
and form his true identity, Brayden digs deeper, realising this is just the tip of an iceberg.
