‘Faithfully Me’ Part 2 explores the trials and tribulations of Samoan ex-pastor Andre Afamasaga, a gay man who fought to reconcile his faith and sexual identity.
Rachel received a nomination for ‘Best Director’ at the Australian Director’s
Guild Awards in 2021 for her most recent documentary, ‘Faithfully Me’ .The film which she wrote, produced and directed, was purchased by the ABC and screened on May 24, 2020. ‘Faithfully Me’ was also officially selected as part of the Academy Accredited St Kilda Film Festival, 2021.
She was a Producer on the 2019 Aussie feature film ‘Bilched’ which was distributed by Bonsai Films and had a national release at Event Cinemas in November 2019. The film won ‘Best Film’ at Chelsea Film Festival, New York. Her documentary ‘Here I Am’ was shown on SBS for a two-year stint from 2016-18. Rachel’s other projects, including the documentaries Living My Way and Secret and Sacred, have been screened on NITV, Imparja TV, Go and Gem
