Impact & Education Masterclass
We hosted our first masterclass of the year as part of the Impact Producer Program last week.
The Impact & Education Masterclass panel featured Shark Island Institute Education Director, Alex Shain, filmmaker and business affairs expert, Chris Kamen, and education specialist and resource writer, Dr Anne Chesher, moderated by our CEO Dr Mitzi Goldman.
The discussion centred on how documentaries can best leverage opportunities to reach students and educators, and contribute to making positive social change in the education sector.
In this masterclass, we heard how our panellists are creating effective educational resources that inspire teachers and engage students, and how they work with different education platforms, distributors and non-traditional pathways to audience to increase reach and uptake in schools and universities.
