Documentaries often shine a light on the quiet achievers, those who get on with resilience, determination and creativity, who contribute to shaping a better world for us all. In these challenging times that we’re living in, we need to see more positive stories that help us embrace what’s possible and build an overall sense of togetherness.
“We will all profit from a more diverse, inclusive society, understanding, accommodating, even celebrating our differences, while pulling together for the common good.” – Ruth Bader Ginsburg
Please join us for a special screening of one of the most uplifting films we’ve supported at Documentary Australia, Chef Antonio’s Recipes for Revolution. The film will be followed by a short preview of a new film Digby & Camille, a Q&A on stories that highlight diversity, as well as a discussion of how our new DocAccess program will make community screenings of documentaries as simple and impactful as possible.
At Documentary Australia, we’re proud to support stories that amplify diverse voices and challenge perceptions to foster a culture of respect, accessibility and inclusion. Come along to this special screening and Q&A to be reminded of the importance of building a future where every person can thrive, free from barriers.
Please note tickets are strictly limited.
