Tahyna’s first endeavour in directing lead to a sold out stage production of John Patrick Shanley’s ‘Savage in Limbo’ before she began work on her film ‘Oren’, which debuted on the international film festival circuit in 2015 and won Best International Short Film at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival. Tahyna studied at London’s premiere filmmaking school ‘MET’ and worked as an assistant director on the 2016 film ‘Boys In The Trees’ as well as direct and produce various music videos and commercials. In 2018 Tahyna directed a brand integrated documentary series following XGAMES athletes which aired on 7mate. Tahyna Directed, “MuM: Misunderstandings of Miscarriage”; a documentary feature film that challenges the shame and stigma surrounding miscarriage.
