A true global citizen, Agnes Burrell (1988) is a cross-cultural dynamo born in Poland, educated in Denmark and worked throughout Africa and Asia before making Australia home.
Story-telling and creative projects were always a part of her life.
From writing school plays and turning them into full productions as a teen to weaving in storytelling into brand roll-outs on an international scale, Agnes has found her calling in crafting a variety of content for do-gooders, NGOs and charities across the globe.
Her recent directorial debut with the short documentary “Truth,” offers an intimate insight into Aunty Kathy’s family story, highlighting Aboriginal history, truth-telling, reconciliation, and the impact of past injustices on present generations.
Agnes is currently working on a feature documentary We Are Waiting that ties deeply into her family history during the 2nd World War. The film is set in the backdrop of the Ukrainian war and explores the echoes of war through three intersectin
