Kangaroo A Love-Hate Story

This groundbreaking film captures the untold love-hate story of Australia’s most famous and contentious national icon. Set in distinctive Australian landscapes, KANGAROO explores the complex and conflicting opinions around this unique marsupial that is at the centre of the largest mass destruction of wildlife in the world.

To expose the current practices, as well educate and celebrate responsible understanding and management of kangaroos.

To raise awareness and expose historical and current attitudes towards kangaroos through interviews with farmers, shooters, meat processors, activists, indigenous leaders, animal carers and scientists.

We have had meetings with and spoken to a number of organisations in order to stay up to date and be informed regarding government policy and legislation, kangaroo management groups, and scientists. We hope viewers will educate and encourage others to see the film as well as take action on issues affecting kangaroos.
