Nara, Galangoor djali [jar’lee], good day. My name is David Cook and I am a proud Badtjala Dad, Actor and director. I would also like to acknowledge the Lands of The People where you might be reading up about FRONTLINE RANGERS. Our documentary comes all the way from the First & Final Frontier of a Habitable.. Prosperous.. Planet.

Privileged with an opportunity to observe this largely unheralded environmental work, we’ll meet the people who are the founders of sustainability.. and they have maintained ecological balance since the first human sunrise. Their ancient knowledge of the living Lands, Waters and Skies is far more intimate and complex than Western science can achieve in the finite time frame imposed by what is now known as ‘climate change’.

They are my people…the founders and number one shareholders of the forever economies. These people are the true Guardians of the Globe… they are Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Rangers.

Build a sense of global pride and empathy for the largely un-known globally significant work First Nations Rangers do .

Create opportunities for everyday Australians to volunteer to work on seasonal projects with rangers where extra hands are needed

Co design the infrastructure for Rangers to run their own ranger Cultural tour experiences and provide enduring mentorships.

Create a [Sponsor a Ranger for life] campaign which brings measurable training results.

Develop a junior ranger training GAME | APP where players receive on Country skills.

The film might promote getting kids out on Country with a unique way of connecting local Indigenous knowledge through hands-on Junior Ranger projects.

FRONTLINE RANGERS will help audiences to understand the commitment and responsibility of First Nations Rangers to preserve Culture and regenerate Australia’s Land and Oceans.

Earth-shot Prize Winner, traditional owner and CEO of The Queensland Indigenous Women ranger Network Larissa Hale explains…

“The Great Barrier Reef is part of us, our culture, our family, our being. We don’t eparate the land and the sea—everything works together. Keeping our waterways and vegetation healthy on land ensures that the water flowing to the reef is healthy. When Aboriginal Australians, the Traditional Custodians, are looking after and caring for Country, everyone benefits as Country in return makes us all healthy.”

FRONTLINE RANGERS will support their long term goals via our extensive impact strategy.

We have letters of support from Ranger groups, their managers, board and Aboriginal Land Councils and have 9-12 month long relationships with them all.

Director David Cook and Producer Margee Brown have spent time out on Country listening to what the Rangers and their Elders want the film to communicate.
