Side Quest Stories is an observational documentary that follows artist Kat Tillman as she turns a neglected house into a creative sanctuary for survivors of domestic violence. Through murals, collaborative storytelling, and community participation, the project provides tangible pathways to healing, empowerment, and public engagement. The house opens as a six-week exhibition raising funds for domestic violence charities and becomes a digital legacy space, creating long-term impact. The film highlights how art can reclaim physical space, strengthen community, and inspire systemic change for survivors, offering measurable outcomes for funders, sponsors, and policy stakeholders invested in gender equity, trauma-informed practice, and social impact.
