Four years after surviving a violent stabbing by her ex-husband, Lutfiye Kavci sets out on a journey to rebuild her life and advocate for a world where women’s lives are no longer threatened by family violence. Organising rallies and engaging in law-changing discussions, Lutfiye is on a mission to be a voice for victim-survivors . Meanwhile, she navigates the challenges of overcoming her own violent past which continue to resurface in her everyday life. Beyond being a ‘victim’ story, however, the film is an individual’s journey of survival, motherhood, pain and resilience.
