We have a strong and long-standing connection to the communities surrounding the Northern Beaches ocean pools, and other ocean pools in NSW. Living locally and participating actively in community events and initiatives, we have built trust and meaningful relationships with residents, families, swimming instructors, and local organisations.
Our ongoing collaborations with councils, heritage groups, and conservation organisations provide access to archives, historical context, and community networks that are invaluable for authentic storytelling. These relationships allow us to engage directly with swimmers, instructors, and families, facilitating interviews and filming in the pools. Our established local presence ensures respectful, accurate, and culturally sensitive storytelling while fostering participation, engagement, and support from the broader community, enhancing the impact of the documentary.
