We hope to help Islander Pacific people reconcile their faith and sexual identity not only in Australia and New Zealand, but all over the world. We envisage we can measure this impact by the number of hits we get on YouTube, and comments left on our Facebook page. We see this as the second instalment to our previous documentary ‘Faithfully Me Part 1’. ‘Faithfully Me Part 2’ will put the spotlight on the Islander Pacific Culture and their relationship with religion and sexual identity. As our documentary ‘Faithfully Me Part 1′ was broadcast on ABC TV, we aim to expand on this well-established relationship and add ‘Faithfully Me Part 2’ to their catalogue of content.

The film will help nourish a quality of life for those who are struggling with their place not only in the world but their respective faiths. It will help promote a healthy and contemporary view on sexually diverse people and their rightful place within the community. The project aims to nurture the welfare of those caught in the grip of reconciling their sexual identity and their faith. We feel we have a far-reaching appeal to attract benefactors interested in exercising their public-spiritedness.

We hope to educate the wider community on the issues facing LGBTIQ people not only within their respective faiths but their everyday life especially in a strict cultural space.
