Documentary Australia

Martin Stringer

I am a filmmaker and photographer whose nature-based storytelling is grounded in long-term relationships, ecological understanding and a deep sense of place.
With over a decade experience as Media Creator for Rainforest Rescue, I bring both creative passion and strategic insight, crafting films that illuminate environmental solutions and support real-world impact.

In 2024, I was honoured with a Cassowary Award from the Wet Tropics Management Authority in recognition of my ongoing contribution to promoting the World Heritage values of the Daintree through photography and film.

My past work includes aerial cinematography for the documentary Saving Paradise (ARTE France), along with visual campaigns for The Wilderness Society, Parks Victoria and the TreadRight Foundation. I approach meaningful storytelling not just as a filmmaker, but as a collaborator and connector, working closely with communities who are leading change on the ground.
