Rockpools are an iconic feature of Australia’s coastline. Most of them are situated on the coastal stretch of New South Wales. They each have their own geological features, history and design. Over the past 100 years, rock pools have played an important part in life of Australians, offering a place for locals to meet their neighbours, create lifelong friendships and swim in safety. Little known stories that have played a role in influencing our nation’s identity are tucked away in the history of these pools. There is so much that needs to be told about these unique constructions which, in all of their beauty, have become a symbol of Australia.
Anna has worked on various projects for This Film Studio, including ‘Here for the Horses’ (2022), ‘Skategoat’ (2021), ‘Save This Shark’ (2020), ‘Save This Rhino: India’ (2020), ‘Misunderstandings of Miscarriage’ (2020) and ‘Save This Rhino: Africa’ (2019). Anna has also produced extreme sport content for Garage Entertainment. In 2021, she embarked on an independent journey, starting with the feature documentary ‘Nansie’ in collaboration with journalist Adelaide Miller. Awards include 2021 Asian Academy Creative Awards, 2020 AIS Lumiere Award and a 2019 Infinity Festival Monolith Award.
