A feature documentary about two remarkable women, oral historian Wendy Lowenstein and her best friend, bio-chemist, traditional dance historian & Indigenous Rights Activist, Shirley Andrews as they battle society's expectations of women in their journey through their post WW2 years of militant activism and their founding contributions to the creation of a national Folklore and Folk Music movement and the collection of Australian oral history.
