Adam Oswell

For more than two decades he has documented the complex relationship between people, wildlife and ecosystems across some of the world’s most significant conservation and wildlife trafficking hotspots.

His photography and reporting have appeared in TIME, Science, National Geographic, The Guardian, Mongabay, Bloomberg and Geographical. His work has also been exhibited internationally, including at the Natural History Museum London, the World Economic Forum in Davos, Leica Gallery London, Visa pour l’Image and f³ – Freiraum für Fotografie Berlin.

He has contributed to projects and productions with organisations including the BBC, ABC Australia, IUCN, WWF International, TRAFFIC, Wildlife Conservation Society and the United Nations Development Programme.

Winner – Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2021, Photojournalism.
Finalist – Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2026, People’s Choice.
