Issue Summary

A short summary of the issue the documentary is addressing

Drug use and mental health issues are on the incline and they are affecting many people in our society especially the younger generation. A lot of young people turn to drugs as a solution to their problems which they don't realise that they get caught into more issues and a higher risk of completely ruining their lives.

Impact

What is the impact vision statement of the documentary?

Our goal is to bring awareness that drugs are not a solution to any problem, that the solution is talking about the problem so that the people around them are aware that they are in need of help. To seek professional help early on because there are people who care and are there to help them. If they are on that path of taking drug, there is still a chance of them coming out the other end. They have to find themselves and they have to believe that they can fight the drug.

Outcomes

What outcomes does the project hope to achieve from making this documentary?

With sharing this heart breaking story we are trying to inform our audience which is part of our society to not choose drugs as a solution instead to seek professional help and to talk openly about their problems in the early stages before they choose drugs. If they are on that path already there is still a way out. It's just they have to believe in themselves and fight hard.
