Synopsis

DURATION: 60 MINUTES

Through re-enactment, archival footage and insightful interviews, this one hour docudrama captures the fascinating life story of Mark Foy of the famed ‘Mark Foys’ retailing empire. A visionary, highly intelligent though somewhat eccentric, Foy's contribution to early Sydney is incalculable - yet none of his achievements meant more to him than The Hydro Majestic Hotel in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales – unquestionably his greatest folly and obsession.
