Digital and Communications Manager
We are searching for a new member to add to our fabulous Sydney team. This is a permanent part-time role, 3-4 days per week.
The role is primarily focused on:
Internal and External Digital Communications
Newsletter and Collateral Design
Marketing and Events support (A/V, presentationa and technology support)
Design skills (knowledge of InDesign essential). Simple brochures, 2-page proposals, keynote and powerpoint presentations and quartlery newsletters;
Knowledge of Wordpress - the ability to manage and update the website which is the main shopfront of the organisation;
Ability to write well and produce quality social content;
Strategizing and implementing marketing and comms campaigns;
Managing Facebook ad campaigns - knowledge re maximising Google Adwords an advantage;
Managing interactions with audiences on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn;
Managing relationships with filmmakers, moving them closer to achieving their social media marketing objectives;
Delivering monthly reports using Google analytics and tracking engagement.
The successful candidate will be working with innovative documentary filmmakers and funders. Films we’ve supported include THAT SUGAR FILM, GAYBY BABY, BACKTRACK BOYS, GHOSTHUNTER, KACHING! POKIE NATION.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Significant experience in social media marketing 2+ years;
Experience in performance Facebook and Google Adwords ads a bonus;
A deep knowledge of the Facebook advertising platform;
An absolute passion for social media. Sherlock-Holmes-like attention to detail as spelling and grammar are paramount;
Great time management skills as you will need to juggle multiple needs at once;
Extensive experience in developing engaging content;
An understanding of graphic design principles as you will be managing the creation of all content;
A base knowledge of social media analytics and social media management tools;
A communications strategist to be able to cut through in this cluttered landscape;
Solid knowledge of Wordpress to regulate update and manage website;
Basic knowledge of Salesforce, Eventbrite, MailChimp, Survey Monkey, etc favourable;
A socially conscious mindset with the passion to work in an organisation that shares real stories to help make the world a better place.
